This Waterbed Frame comes in a Country Pine Finish - i.e. the wood is specially treated to give an aged appearance by Hand Waxing as opposed to lacquering
The wood is waxed roughly and then distressed, then stained with an oil stain to bleed through the wood

It is NOT a polished laquered finish but is rather an antique finish.
